Animated ecards are our classic free cards — fully animated, no account needed.

1. 1Browse by occasion — choose from the top menu (Birthday, Anniversary, Thank You, etc.) or visit All Occasions.
2. 2Click on any card you like to open the card detail page.
3. 3Watch the card preview to make sure it's the right one.
4. 4Click "Send This Card" or scroll down to the send form.
5. 5Enter your name and an optional personal message, then click <strong>Next</strong>.
6. 6Choose <strong>Email</strong> as your delivery method.
7. 7Enter the recipient's name and email address, and your own email (for a delivery confirmation).
8. 8Click "Send Card" — your card is on its way!

Face ecards let you drop someone's face (or your own!) into a fun animated character. They make for hilarious, personalised cards.

1. 1Go to Face Ecards in the top menu or homepage.
2. 2Browse and click on a face ecard card.
3. 3On the card page, click "Add a Face" — a camera / upload panel will appear.
4. 4Upload a photo from your device, or take one with your camera. Make sure the face is clearly visible.
5. 5Drag and resize the face so it lines up with the character's face outline.
6. 6Some cards have a second character — upload a second face if prompted (e.g. couples\' cards).
7. 7Click <strong>Preview</strong> to see how the card looks with the face applied.
8. 8Fill in your name and personal message, then choose your delivery method (Email, WhatsApp, or Copy Link).
9. 9Send!

Photo cards let you place your own photo inside a decorative frame and send it as an ecard.

1. 1Visit the Photo Cards section (link in the homepage or directly at /photo-cards).
2. 2Choose a frame design — frames are grouped by theme (Birthday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, etc.).
3. 3Click "Use This Frame" to open the card builder.
4. 4Upload your photo from your device. You can drag and resize it to fit perfectly inside the frame.
5. 5Optionally choose a music track to play when the recipient opens the card.
6. 6Enter your name and a personal message.
7. 7Enter the recipient's name and email address.
8. 8Click "Send Card". The recipient gets a link to view the animated card with your photo.

You can share any card via WhatsApp, SMS, or any other messaging app — no email address needed.

1. 1Open any card and fill in Step 1 (your name + optional message), then click <strong>Next</strong>.
2. 2On the delivery step, click the WhatsApp tab or Copy Link tab instead of Email.
3. 3WhatsApp: We generate a unique pickup link and pre-fill a WhatsApp message for you. Tap "Open WhatsApp" — your browser or app opens with the message ready to send. Just choose who to send it to and tap Send.
4. 4Copy Link: We create a unique link for your card. Tap "Copy" and paste it anywhere — a text message, iMessage, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, email, or even a social media post.

Plan ahead — schedule a card to be delivered automatically on a specific date.

1. 1Choose a card and fill in your name and message (Step 1).
2. 2On the delivery step, select <strong>Email</strong> as your delivery method.
3. 3Fill in the recipient's name and email.
4. 4Look for the "Send Date" field — click it and pick a future date from the calendar.
5. 5The delivery time will be shown as 8:00 AM UTC on the chosen date.
6. 6Click "Schedule Card". You\'ll see a confirmation showing the delivery date.

An account is free and optional — but it unlocks useful features.

1. 1Go to Sign In and click "Forgot password?" below the login form.
2. 2Enter the email address you used when you registered.
3. 3Click <strong>"Send Reset Link"</strong>.
4. 4Check your inbox for an email with a password reset link (check Spam if you don't see it).
5. 5Click the link in the email — it opens a page where you can enter a new password.
6. 6Enter and confirm your new password, then click <strong>"Reset Password"</strong>.
7. 7You're now signed in with your new password.

1. 1The recipient gets an email from <strong>noreply@got-free-ecards.com</strong> with a link to their card.
2. 2They click the link — the card opens directly in their browser. No account or app needed.
3. 3The card plays automatically.
4. 4They can reply or share the card using the options on the card page.

Never forget an important date again. Set up reminders and we'll email you a few days before.

1. 1Sign in to your account (or create one free).
2. 2Go to My Account → Reminders, or visit /account/reminders.
3. 3Click "Add Reminder".
4. 4Enter the person's name, the occasion (Birthday, Anniversary, etc.), and the date.
5. 5Choose how many days in advance you want to be notified (e.g. 3 days before).
6. 6Save — we'll email you on that day with a link to browse cards for the occasion.
